Good evening everyone and welcome to The Magical Mystery
Blog.
This week has been a dynamic explosion for fandoms
everywhere. First, we have received word that a new Guitar Hero will be
available for the Wii U, Playstation 4, XBOX
One, and XBOX 360 sometime this year. Secondly, the Avengers played Family
Feud on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” and lastly, we have finally received a new
trailer for “Star Wars: The Force Awakens”.
Guitar
Hero has definitely received a makeover with its realistic graphics and new
guitar. The rainbow buttons are gone and in their place are buttons that blend
in, giving the overall look of an actual guitar. The game is now only playable for entertainment
and education, giving gamers a chance to learn how to play a guitar. It also
has new features such as Guitar Hero TV and Guitar Hero Live which will appear
on the game in Fall 2015. Guitar Hero TV allows you to compete with friends and
play songs available as DLC.
The Avengers on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” took the stage by storm discussing fanart and general questions
about the team. The cast responded in and out of character, much to the delight
of the audience and geeks everywhere. They also played their version of the Family
Feud which now makes me want to see
them go on the actual show.
“Star
Wars: The Force Awakens” has
reminded me why I love “Star Wars” and it’s for the fact that it is brilliant,
sci fi gold. Lucas has once again outdone himself and presented us with a
spectacular trailer that gives us goosebumps and a new hope for the movie. It
features everything we’ve ever loved about the movie: the Falcon, lightsabers, Chewie (who doesn’t look greyer), and Han
Solo.
This week has been nothing more than a geekified sundae with
a destroyed Darth Vader helmet for the cherry. So far it has been a feast for
the eyes, soon it’ll be time to dig in.
Thank you for reading tonight’s entry. If you enjoyed it,
feel free to comment, share, and critique.
So tell me, what are you excited for the most: Guitar Hero
2015, “Avengers : Age of Ultron”, or “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” and why?
