Gonna Fool em All

Good evening everyone and welcome to a late night edition of The Magical Mystery Blog.

Today is April Fool’s Day, a day where we prank others for fun. Some tend to go to the extremes with pranks, while others go for classic tricks or stay simple. Every year, Google has performed pranks that blew many Internet users’ minds. However, this year’s prank takes the Pokepuff.

Google Maps houses this year’s April Fool’s prank, which is only available for mobile devices. By clicking on the app and hitting “Press Start”, you can search and capture Pokemon throughout the world. It’s even rumored that if you catch all the Pokemon, you could achieve Google’s official “Pokemon master” status.

This feature will run until April 2nd, when it will disappear from our lives. Until then, let’s enjoy one of the greatest April Fool’s pranks Google has ever had. So far I’ve managed to capture Samurott, Pikachu, and Pichu.

Feel free to comment and reblog, and as always feedback and followers are welcomed. Tonight I leave you with a question: What was the first Pokemon you captured using Google’s Pokemon feature?
