Hooplah for Hoopa

Good evening everyone and welcome to The Magical Mystery Blog.

Remember last year when a new Pokemon was found in Pokemon X and Y’s coding, but somehow only hackers managed to obtain it? That Pokemon was known as Hoopa and now we are finally getting out hands on it.

Here we see Hoopa in its Confined form, relaxing in its natural state.

In the future, Hoopa will be distributed in some fashion to Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire. It’s a legendary Ghost/Psychic Pokemon and is known as the mischievous djinn. A djinn is a genie, so what’s a genie Pokemon without its lamp? While this item has not been officially announced by Nintendo, Hoopa can use the Prison Bottle to its ultimate advantage.
The Hoopa that we are shown is known as Hoopa Confined. When the Prison Bottle is activated, Hoopa can achieve its second form, Hoopa Unbound. Hoopa Unbound looks like a Hindi deity who dolled itself up with fushica fabric and Lord, is it terrifying. However, this has not yet been confirmed by Nintendo, but based on what the hackers have found it looks like it will happen.

And here we see Hoopa's Unbound form, proceeding to wipe that Corphish from the face of the planet.

Hoopa was announced five days ago in the most recent Coro Coro leaks and on The Official Pokemon Channel on Youtube. In the Coro Coro leaks, readers were also given a glimpse at the new Pokemon movie which is set to come out July 18th, 2015. The movie is entitled "Pokemon The Archdjinn of the Hoops: Hoopa" and there’s something peculiar about the trailer. Yes, we see Rayquaza, Kyogre, and Groudon in their primal forms in the trailer, but a hoop appears afterward, sucking them into another dimension. This confirms that Hoopa is responsible for the rings appearing in Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire that unleash various legendaries. Hoopa also has the ability to transport things (most likely Pokemon as well) by teleportation which warps space. Why Hoopa is doing that though, is still uncertain.  It also shows that these three legendaries are not the key focus at hand, but rather are a part of something much bigger that involves Hoopa.

Despite all this hoopla about Hoopa and its immense power, there are a few things I like about this Pokemon. One is the typing, I adore Ghost and Psychic types and often try to get one or the other on my team. Both typings are very useful and mysterious. Another aspect I like is the fact that Hoopa’s constant craving is doughnuts. This little trait gives the Pokemon some personality and allows the player to imagine this possibly chaotic legendary as a doughnut loving ghost. Plus I find the contrast rather humorous: Hoopa holds a doughnut and all is right with the world; Hoopa holds the rings that are on its horns and everything is wrong with the world. Lastly, I love Hoopa’s designs. Hoopa Confined is the simple, tamed version of the powerful being that can be unleashed which has immense detail. When it is exposed, Hoopa Unbound has incredible complex detail – the complete opposite of its little, confined form.

How do you believe Nintendo will distribute this Pokemon?
